The Ancient Temples of Malta.

If you think the ancient civilisations of Greece, Roman Republic/Empire, Egypt, Incans, Mayans and the Ottomans were deep in history, you would be right. But, on a small island in the Mediterranean Sea lies Malta. A land mass of 316 square kilometres with half a million people. The history of Malta can be dated back to the Ice Age (13000 years ago) where an ancient species of humans were said to be very advanced by today's standards who helped and guided the local inhabitants in farming, building and generally serviving the aftermath of the great melt of the Ice Age. Both the main islands of Malta consist of temples that defy the concept of how ancient cultures build. The temples consist of hundreds of megaliths (shaped rock), many tons in weight, that not one man can handle. Technology back then wasn't around to accurately place the megaliths in position. So how did the megaliths get there? Some say Giants, some say influence from outer space and some say a forgotten race of people now extint that were far more advanced than today's clever bunnies. Personally I don't think an answer will be presented in my lifetime. So the flight here is to visit Malta and soak in the atmosphere of the Ancient Temples of Malta.
