Farewell to the RAF C-130 Hercules EGXZ to EGXW

This is a virtual airline achievement created by FireFly Air.

In commemoration of the retirement of the C-130 from active duty with the RAF, a formation of three C-130 aircraft will depart from Brize Norton. They will head towards Wales and then proceed across the Irish Sea to Northern Ireland. From there, they will continue their journey to Scotland, tracing the east coast and over flying at various bases along the way. Finally, they will conclude the route with a full stop landing back at Brize Norton. This itinerary will serve as a tribute to the C-130's service as we mark the end of an era.

Criteria

Depart from EGXZ, fly to and land at EGXW (70 NM).

You must use one of the following aircraft:
  • Beechcraft Super King Air 350 (B350)
  • Lockheed C-130 Hercules (C130)
  • Transall C-160 (C160)
  • Cessna Caravan (C208)
  • Cessna 414 Chancellor (C414)
  • Douglas DC-3 (DC3)
  • Douglas DC-6 (DC6)
  • De Havilland Canada DHC-2 Mk1 Beaver (DHC2)
  • De Havilland Canada DHC-4 Caribou (DHC4)
  • Quest Kodiak (KODI)
  • Supermarine Spitfire (SPIT)

Before attempting to fly this achievement (with one of the above aircraft) you must ensure that your aircraft is properly designated in FsHub or you may risk not completing the achievement.

You will be awarded XP 47 for completing this achievement.
