High Mountain Rescue Stage 2 - The Rescue

Helicopter Rescue will pick up as many people as they can from Calama Airstrip (SCCZ). Then make your way to Caposa Airport (SCKP) about 40 miles away. Once Safely landed, the passengers will be transfered to planes and brought back to Diego Aracena.

The route if done direct will require you to fly over 17,000 feet to clear the mountains. You will have to pick your way through the terrain to find the best route and keep under the limits. It will take you longer, but its the only way.

Leg 2 - SCCZ to SCKP (About 40 Miles)

Criteria

Depart from SCCZ, fly to and land at SCKP (38 NM).

You must use one of the following aircraft:

  • Robinson R-22 (R22)
  • Robinson R-44 (R44)
  • Sikorsky S-55 (S55P)
  • Sikorsky UH-34 Seahorse (S58P)
  • Aerospatiale Dauphin 2 (SA-365C) (S65C)
  • Sikorsky S-76 (S76)
  • Sikorsky Helibus (S92)
  • Bell Huey (UH1)
  • Bell-Boeing *V-22 Osprey (V22)
  • Velocity XL (VELO)

Before attempting to fly this achievement (with one of the above aircraft) you must ensure that your aircraft is properly designated in FsHub or you may risk not completing the achievement.

You will be awarded XP 100 for completing this achievement.
