Return of the Dance

Riverdance is a theatrical show that consists mainly of traditional Irish music and dance. With a score composed by Bill Whelan, it originated as an interval performance act during the 1994 Eurovision Song Contest, featuring Irish dancing champions Jean Butler, Michael Flatley and the vocal ensemble Anúna. Shortly afterwards, husband and wife production team John McColgan and Moya Doherty expanded it into a stage show, which opened in Dublin on 9 February 1995. Since then, the show has visited over 450 venues worldwide and been seen by over 25 million people, making it one of the most successful dance productions in the world.

Myself and Jean are even getting on the stage. The problem is half the troupe are with me in Paris and the other half are in London

Well…. back in the day I was known to bust a few moves in the local Disco, the dance floor used to clear any time I started to dance……..(thinking)...... probably because they wanted to watch.

You're probably right Murph, listen two more things I don’t like flying and really don’t like the landing can you make sure whoever you send can butter the landing and I heard you have a lad there who is like Mr Eurovision, I think his name is Kian any chance you could convince him to do Master of Ceremonies for the opening night? Yeah he’s a bit of a ledge around these parts. I'm sure there will be no problem and I will dispatch my best pilot to pick you up. Just leave all the arrangement to me****
