Avro Vulcan was developed by the British aircraft manufacturer Avro in the 1950s, the Vulcan was a strategic bomber that played a crucial role during the Cold War.The Vulcan's first flight took place on August 30, 1952. It was a significant milestone in aviation history, marking the beginning of the Vulcan's journey as a strategic bomber. The aircraft underwent further development and modifications before entering service with the Royal Air Force in the late 1950s. The Vulcan's sleek delta wing design and powerful engines contributed to its success as a Cold War bomber.
The Vulcan's most notable moment came during the Falklands War in 1982 when it carried out long-range bombing missions against Argentine positions. The Black Buck missions, especially Black Buck 1, showcased the Vulcan's ability to perform long-range bombing raids, flying all the way from Ascension Island to the Falklands.

XH558 was the last Vulcan in flying condition, and its retirement was a bittersweet moment for aviation enthusiasts who had followed its post-military service career. The farewell tour allowed people to witness the distinctive silhouette of the Vulcan one last time in the skies, closing a chapter on the remarkable history of this Cold War-era bomber.
