Great Divide 02 PAOM to PFSH

This is a virtual airline achievement created by Fliggity Air.

The end of this leg is Shaktoolik airport. The city is one of a number of Alaskan communities threatened by errosion related to global warming effects. Due to this hazard the city has been relocated twice already. The area was originally mapped around 1843 by the Russian Imperial Navy who called it "Tshaktogmyut". "Shaktoolik" is derived from the Unaliq word, "suktuliq", meaning "scattered things".

Criteria

Depart from PAOM, fly to and land at PFSH (110 NM).

You must use one of the following aircraft:

  • VAN'S RV-14 (RV14)
  • Cirrus SR-22 (SR22)
  • Camair 480 Twin Navion (TNAV)
