Great Divide 03 PFSH to PAGA

This is a virtual airline achievement created by Fliggity Air.

You'll touch down from this hop at Edward G Pitka Sr. Airport in Galena. In 2013, the city suffered a catastrophic flood when the spring breakup on the Yukon River caused an ice jam approximately 20 miles downstream, backing up the rivver and affecting 90% of homes in the city. This flood was on a scale never seen before by Galena residents. In the part of town closest to the river, hoses were submerged to thei roofs in water. Most of the residents were able to evacuate thanks to the local airlines, volunteer missionary pilots, and the Alaska National Guard.

Criteria

Depart from PFSH, fly to and land at PAGA (113 NM).
