It's 1948, the heyday of the Latecoere 631 flying boat. This is a regularly scheduled Air France transatlantic flight between Port Etienne in Mauritania and Fort de France on the island of Martinique in the Caribbean. For this shorter duration flight, we are only going as far as Paia on the isle of Praia in Cabo Verde.

This is a shorter duration, 500 nm flight to Cabo Verde that will give you a "taste" of the transatlantic voyage to Fort de France without the 15-20 hour time requirement. Should you wish to experience the full 2500 nm flight, an "Iron Man" version is available here
