Narathiwat Airport (IATA: NAW, ICAO: VTSC)

is an airport in Khok Khian subdistrict, Mueang Narathiwat district, Narathiwat province in southern Thailand.

Narathiwat Airport was constructed in 1974 at the same time as the Thaksin Rajaniwet Palace. Serving the Narathiwat province, the airport is mainly used by the royal family, military and people who live in Narathiwat and near this area.

Due to the length of runway around 2,500 meters, Narathwat airport can serve Airbus A300-600 as 1 slot, Boeing 737-400 as 2 slots, airplane limited at least 80 seats as 1 slot, and helicopter 212/UH-IN as 2 slots at the same time.

Facilities Passenger Terminal Narathiwat Airport has one passenger terminal with the following details:

• Restaurant: Located on the first floor of the passenger terminal.
• Souvenir Shop: Located on the first floor of the passenger terminal.
• Restrooms: Available on both sides of the first and second floors of the passenger terminal.
• ATM: Located in front of the airport near National Highway No. 4136 (Narathiwat-Ban Ton), specifically a Krungthai Bank ATM.
• Check-in Counters: Thai AirAsia and Thai Airways check-in counters are located inside the passenger terminal, in front of the entrance.
• Ticket Counters: Thai AirAsia's ticket counter is located on the first floor near the terminal exit, while Thai Airways' counter is near the terminal entrance, beside the X-ray machine.
• Passport Control Counters: Located on the first floor near the entrance to the departure terminal and inside the arrival terminal (during Hajj season).
• Aircraft Parking Apron: In front of the Royal Pavilion, the apron measures 80 meters wide and 180 meters long, while in front of the passenger terminal, it measures 90 meters wide and 120 meters long.

Prayer Rooms Narathiwat Airport provides two prayer rooms for Muslim passengers:

• On the second floor of the passenger terminal, on the west side of the departure lounge, with separate rooms for men and women, including restrooms and ablution facilities.
• In the multi-purpose building, with separate areas for men (on the left side of the building) and women (behind the stage inside the building), including ablution facilities.

Runway and Taxiways
Narathiwat Airport has one runway with an asphaltic-concrete surface. The runway is 45 meters wide with 7.5-meter shoulders on each side and a length of 2,500 meters. There are blast pads at both ends, each 60 meters wide and 65 meters long.

The airport has two taxiways, both with asphaltic-concrete surfaces. One taxiway is 25 meters wide and 150 meters long, while the other is 23 meters wide and 178 meters long.
