Phitsanulok Airport (IATA: PHS, ICAO: VTPP)

Located in Mueang Phitsanulok District, Phitsanulok Province, 3 kilometers from the city center, this airport is under the Department of Airports, Ministry of Transport. It was officially declared a customs airport on September 1, 1991. Initially, it was an airfield for the 46th Air Division of the Royal Thai Air Force, established in 1941, serving as a base for fighter and bomber aircraft.

Boarding Pass Check Area

The terminal building has a maximum passenger capacity of 500 for arrivals and 500 for departures. It has two floors:

• First Floor: This floor contains the boarding pass check area, souvenir shops, a coffee shop, a mini-mart, baggage claim, the arrival area, and car rental services.

• Second Floor: The second floor is designated for departing passengers, the airport's administrative office, and airline offices.

Aircraft Parking Area

The aircraft parking area is 137 meters wide and 300 meters long (usable length approximately 240 meters), capable of accommodating up to four Airbus A320 aircraft.

Runway

Phitsanulok Airport has one runway, 45 meters wide with 7.5-meter shoulders on each side, and a total length of 3,000 meters. It also includes blast pads at each end, with a width of 60 and 90 meters, and a length of 60 meters. The airport is equipped with ILS, DME, VOR, and NDB air navigation systems.
