Eindhoven is known for the Philips Museum, which traces the history of the electronics giant. The city also boasts the innovative Strijp-S district and the beautiful Genneper Parken. Eindhoven’s history dates back to the 13th century. It grew significantly during the Industrial Revolution, largely due to the establishment of Philips in 1891, which transformed it into a technology and design hub.
