| Remarks: | Day one of UH-60 training | First exercise, dust-off quick landings, 13 total, only 4 touched down. Not the smoothest, still learning flight characteristics of UH-60, especially at higher speeds or tight maneuvers. | Second exercise, strafing maneuvers, learning to slightly offset nose from direction of travel in a controlled manner. Terrible job. Final landing Ft/M 36, Terrible hover-taxi to park. There was some learning accomplished today even if a lot of it seems like I'm just messing around here. Not very realistic but am learning how this thing flies! |
