Remarks:	Flown for the short DFC today. The flight went mostly smooth, though I did have a couple bouts of carb icing. The most notable instance was on final. I didn't realize the carb was icing up until I need power to maintain the glidepath. When I pushed the throttle but wasn't getting a manifold pressure increase, I knew it had to be carb icing. I quickly pulled the Carb Heat out which cleared the engine up nicely. Doing so delayed my gear and flaps settings until much later in the approach than I'd normally like, but at least I had power now in case I needed to go around! Great flight, and lessons were learned!
