Edwards Air Force Base [KEDW] > Reid Internationa/Las Vegas [KLAS] (151 mi)

Beginning life as Muroc Field in 1933 and serving as an aerial bombing range during WW2 the base became the heart of the US military's flight test progam with it's name change to Edwards in 1950, though flight tessting was carried out there in 1942 on the first American jet fighter, the Bell P-59. Since then it's legend has only grown with nearly every US Air Force aircraft having been tested there. Today it is still the home of US Air Force flight testing and who knows what major breakthough will come out of there next. For avitation buffs the place is hallowed ground, make sure to fly over a few times and check it out before you land.

Criteria

Depart from KEDW, fly to and land at KLAS (152 NM). Your landing rate must not exceed 700 f/m.

You will be awarded XP 150 for completing this achievement.
