Paro (VQPR), located in mountainous Bhutan, is well known for its dangerous approaches. Although Paro is a high-altitude airport, it still lies deep in a narrow valley, so terrain is the main threat, especially in low-visibility conditions. The published RNP approaches will only get you so far down. After the missed approach point, it's up to you to navigate yourself (and your passengers) to the runway.
