Pilots, there are no restrictions as to what aircraft you can fly to complete these achievements however we recommend something with STOL capabilities as there are a few short runways and also something with a little power as there are a couple of legs that will need you to climb over obstacles. While we have provided flight plans as a courtesy, the flights are intended to be flown using the descriptions provided. Fliggity Air provides no warranty that following them without paying attention won’t lead you into a mountainside, so if you’re the pilot then you better be piloting. Also, it’s important to note that each leg has its own maximum altitude restriction so pay close attention to the details of each of the legs. Keep in mind if you’re flying close to the maximum altitude a strong gust of wind could push you above that restriction and that counts; exceeding these restrictions will result in not getting the achievement! (Pro Tip: While we have tested these legs using live weather, it may be a good idea to not use "live" weather given the simulator's track record with issues - your call though)

Having said that, there are several bits and bobs we recommend if you’re so interested. These are definitely not required but they may add some utility and nice visual flavour to the trip. Specific notes with regards to the freeware options, it’s worth reading the description and comments to see if there are known issues.

Aircraft Selection:

If you're flying with the default aircraft: For a faster aircraft we recommend the Textron Aviation C208. If you're interested in a more scenic experience aim for one of the Diamond DA40NG, the Cessna Skyhawk, or the Cub Crafter X Cub.

If you're interested in exploring with a payware aircraft, the faster options would be the Kodiak 100, the Twin Otter, or the PAC P-750 XSTOL. To really take in the scenery you could also go with the Pilatus PC-6, the Cub Crafter NXCub, the Kitfox Series 5, or the Pipistrel Virus SW121.
